Erin Hohman

PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, MSN

I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in diverse settings, including community health and college health.

During the beginning of my career, I frequently witnessed the effects poor mental health could have on a person’s physical health and their ability to function how they wanted at school, work, or socially. I returned to school to obtain my psychiatric training so I’d possess the specialized knowledge necessary to help those struggling with their mental health.

One of my particular areas of clinical interest is neurodiversity (particularly ADHD and autism) and its interaction with mental and physical health. I have neurodivergent family members and am proudly neurodivergent myself. I also have significant experience working with individuals from marginalized groups in the college health setting, and I proudly practice as an ally to LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent people, and people of color. I aim to create a space where all identities are welcomed, respected and valued.

One of my other areas of clinical interest is functional psychiatry, where we attempt to find the root cause of an individual’s mental illness. This may involve looking for genetic, nutritional, hormonal, and environmental factors that may be causing or worsening an individual’s psychiatric symptoms. Treatment may include dietary changes, nutritional supplementation, exercise, and other modalities. Psychiatric medication is often used alongside functional psychiatry if indicated and/or desired.

Whichever type of treatment modality you prefer, I believe meaningful mental health care begins with understanding the many aspects of your life - biological, psychological, social and cultural. Together, we will work to create a treatment plan that aligns with your beliefs and goals and feels achievable to you. I highly value shared decision‑making and am always open to questions and suggestions, and I want you to feel heard, supported and empowered throughout your care.

A little bit about me personally:

I grew up in a small town in central Washington State. I majored in Spanish in undergrad, so I still speak it pretty fluently. I love learning new things and I’m constantly reading, both fiction and nonfiction. Other passions include running, yoga, camping, travel, drinking coffee, and spending time with my family and goldendoodle, Lucy.

Audra Umthun

PMHNP-BC, MSN

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.

My journey in healthcare began over eight years ago as a nurse, working in both critical care and behavioral health before transitioning to advanced psychiatric practice.

Mental health is the foundation of a stable and fulfilling life, and I believe everyone deserves the chance to find balance and healing that a good quality of life demands. Supporting mental health is not just about treatment—it’s about teamwork. I listen and I don’t judge. I tailor care with a whole-person approach, recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to your overall well-being and success. Mental health care is a mutually respectful partnership, and my role is to empower patients with the knowledge and support they need to make informed, healthy choices for their well-being through the power of evidenced based practice.

A little bit about me personally:

Outside of my work, I’m a bit of a hippie at heart and firmly believe in the power of good vibes to turn a bad day around. I will absolutely greet a dog before saying hello to the person with it (no offense!). Gardening is one of my biggest passions—I love growing my own herbs and vegetables and using them in homemade meals for my family. My specialty? A tie between roasted Cornish game hen with sautéed veggies or my famous carbonara.

My ultimate dream is to have a small hobby farm, live life like the bear on the Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea box cover—while continuing to support my community in the field of mental health.

A little bit about me personally:

I am a PNW native, and though I love to travel, I have kept my home base local because I love it here! During my free time, I enjoy getting lost in a good book for hours (with an endless supply of coffee). I am definitely a “foodie” and am continuously on the hunt for good restaurants to try. Unlike the typical PNW native, I actually hate hiking but am happy to hop on a horse anytime. And no, I never use an umbrella.
